Wallpaper for a Change

Have you been enjoying your home for several years but your house is getting a little stale. No worries and in my business, I hear these concerns all of the time. Lately wallpaper has been on my mind. I understand your shock and horror because wallpaper can be stressful!  All you can remember is the red and emerald green floral prints of the past. Or worse, wallpaper boarders in every single room of your grandmother’s house. 

Well, I am here to tell you that wallpaper is a perfect way to update for your home and the best place to try it out is in the powder room or half bath. You may be able to tackle this as a weekend project or hire a professional. These rooms are small and the investment would not be great. Because of their size, large and small motifs work equally well and help set the mood. Choose colors that blend well with surrounding walls or experiment with popular metallic gold or silver for some pizazz.  If doing the entire bathroom is daunting consider only one wall as an accent wall behind a sink and mirror.
